Cubicle dwellers — we are not like 'whistle
pigs' waiting to have our numbers thinned. Stand up, Look up (to the Lord – 2
Chron. 20:12, 15), and Stop rolling over for something just because someone in
power says so. We should do so peacefully as much as it is possible, but also
remember the struggle our nation's founding fathers engaged in to reject
tyranny.
A recent WorldNet Daily article describes what some are doing to shift from their
hunkered down mode to an active speaking out against the increasing tyranny of
the police state we have morphed into.
Join with the Tea Teams to get off your couch
and participate in the nation’s restoration. Bill Finley (“Wild Bill for
America”) and the Tea Teams are not sitting idly by and just letting things
happen. Step up to leadership and actively inform your elected representatives
of your reaction to their behavior.
Remember the
famous quote attributed to Pastor Martin Niemöller
an outspoken foe of Adolph Hitler:
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Socialist.
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak
out--
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Jew.
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for
me.
We must speak while it is still possible to
speak!
King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes 3:1, 7, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under
heaven . . . a time to be silent and a time to speak.” Now is the time to
speak!
[Update 2]
When a pastor in Simi
Valley, California noticed that Bibles in Costco were labeled “Fiction” he
spoke out. See the Fox News segment. This was likely a genuine mistake for
which Costco apologized and took immediate steps to correct, but some morally
challenged people who commented applauded the mistake. That mentality is
becoming rampant today.
