Expose the fruitless deeds of darkness

The apostle Paul wrote to the church in Ephesus while imprisoned in Rome between AD 60 and 62:
Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said: "Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you." Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is (Eph. 5:11-17 NIV).
Note the eight exhortations in this passage:
Fruitless deeds of darkness.
In many of my blogs, as well as in my book Spiritual Tsunami: Bible Prophecy and World Events are Converging, I frequently use the term “under the radar” to describe what Paul referred to as “the fruitless deeds of darkness.”
Barak Obama’s refusal to disclose a true copy of his birth certificate while publishing a fake Certificate of Live Birth is a good example. Even his lawyer in a legal challenge to his name being placed on the ballot in New Jersey acknowledged that the latter document was false. While many still believe that Obama is a never-naturalized citizen of Kenya by virtue of his birth and thus ineligible to be President of the United States, the truth remains veiled in darkness.
Likewise, the truth of his religious connections is also being hidden from the American public. There is a great deal of obfuscation of his religious background. Does his attendance at Jeremiah Wright’s position as Pastor Emeritus of Trinity United Church of Christ qualify Obama to call himself a Christian? Or, as many believe, does his father’s Muslim religion and his attendance at an Islamic Madrassa in Indonesia as a young boy, make him a Muslim? The jury is still out. Again, the truth is hidden from the public eye.
The early and more recent influences on Barak Obama’s life strongly suggest many powers that would stimulate him to adopt a communist, or at least a socialist, mind-set.
Saul Alinsky, a well-known Marxist/Socialist promoted: using Trojan-Horse tactics to overthrow capitalism; hiding motives through deception; becoming a Master Manipulator. Obama wrote an article honoring Alinski and used the Alinski model while at ACORN.
Gregory Galluzzo, Alinski’s greatest disciple advocated for collective property ownership and pushes wealth redistribution.
Bernadine Dohrn and Bill Ayers, self-declared Communists, Marxists and Anarchists, plotted to overthrow the US Government vowing to “kill all the rich people.”
A friend of Obama’s family, Frank Marshall Davis, avowed Communist leader and author, bitterly opposed Capitalism.
The iconic Rev. Jeremiah Wright advocated class and racial warfare; spoke out against America, describing it in a rather vulgar manner. Participated with Louis Farrakhan, radical Black Muslim leader, in meeting with Arabs, Iranians and Communist Cubans.
Radical Muslim and Black Panther, Dr. Khalid Al-Mansour actively advocated for a large bloodbath in America desired by the Muslim moon-god, Allah.
Today’s news in the Washington Times suggested:
The Obama campaign apparently didn't look backwards into history when selecting its new campaign slogan, "Forward" — a word with a long and rich association with European Marxism.
Many Communist and radical publications and entities throughout the 19th and 20th centuries had the name "Forward!" or its foreign cognates. Wikipedia has an entire section called "Forward (generic name of socialist publications)."
"The name Forward carries a special meaning in socialist political terminology. It has been frequently used as a name for socialist, communist and other left-wing newspapers and publications," the online encyclopedia explains.
Conservative critics of the Obama administration have noted numerous ties to radicalism and socialists throughout Mr. Obama's history, from his first political campaign being launched from the living room of two former Weather Underground members, to appointing as green jobs czar Van Jones, a self-described communist.
It is shameful to even mention what the disobedient do in secret.
Former presidential candidate John Edwards impregnating a woman not his wife and then using campaign funds to pay her off to conceal the act. Nancy Pelossi’s inveterate lying about subjects like awareness of waterboarding terrorists confined at Guantanamo Bay, said she was not told about it when the CIA sent several people to her office to notify her that it was taking place.
Light makes everything visible. Only cockroaches run and hide when the lights are turned on.
John the apostle wrote in his gospel:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. There came a man who was sent from God; his name was John. He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe. He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world. (John 1:1-9 NIV)
Jesus is the light and only through Him can we truly see.
Rise from being dead to the truth.
They say that if you put a frog into a pot of boiling water, it will leap out right away to escape the danger.
But, if you put a frog in a kettle that is filled with water that is cool and pleasant, and then you gradually heat the kettle until it starts boiling, the frog will not become aware of the threat until it is too late.
The frog's survival instincts are geared towards detecting sudden changes.
We, like the frog, are in danger of dying as a nation through inattention and lack of situational awareness. Americans in general and Christians in particular can no longer afford the luxury of trusting in government or simply relying on God to do something while we go on with the minutiae of life. We must study and learn the ways of the enemy amongst us.
We must seek the truth. It will not be found by reading newspapers or watching TV news. It will require diligent searching to piece together the puzzle pieces that are hidden in plain sight. Starting with the Bible, we must obey the command to “Watch” exhorted in Matt. 25, Mark 13, and Luke 21. Then we must avoid discounting the plethora of stories reported in blogs and news articles from around the world. John 8:31-32 tells us that if we hold to the teachings of Christ, we will know the truth.
Carefully live as the wise.
A fool finds pleasure in evil conduct, but a man of understanding delights in wisdom. Make the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. (Proverbs 10:23 NIV)
Avoid foolishness.
The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good. (Psalm 14:1 NIV)
Understand the Lord’s will.
The apostle Paul strongly urged the believers in Rome:
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you. (Romans 12:1-3 NIV)
God has a plan and we must seek to know it and be prepared for its enactment. Failing that, we will fall in the category of the person who asked, “Where are we going and why am I in a hand basket?”
